OOTD: Grey Sky and Knitted Skirt

And finally the weather is cool enough so that I can wear the very first thing I made from my homespun grey wool. This skirt is why I bought two kilograms of wool - and ended up using very little of it for the skirt itself. I have knitted other things (like the leg-warmers, my wooly hat or this cardigan) from it for months now. I have lined the skirt with an old grey T-Shirt, this is why it is REALLY warm and I still don't need to wear tights with it.

I love that you can see the various states of the garden in all of those outfit pictures - there are still roses blooming this late in the year [you can see them on the right side of the top image]!

I hope that you experience something surprising today (in a good way) that touches you and makes you think about all the good things and the amazing amounts of beauty that you can find in your life!

Und da ist er: Mein selbstgestrickter Rock! Endlich ist es kalt genug und ich kann ihn anziehen. Dieser Rock ist der Grund, weshalb ich 2 Kilo graue Wolle zum Spinnen kaufte - im Endeffekt habe ich erstaunlich wenig davon gebraucht und deshalb seit Monaten immer wieder andere Projekte damit gemacht (wie die Stulpen, meine Mütze und diesen Cardigan). Den Rock selbst habe ich mit einem alten grauen T-Shirt gefüttert, deshalb ist er auch so verflucht warm und ich muss noch keine Strumpfhosen dazu tragen.

Ich finde es ganz wunderbar, dass man in all diesen Outfit-Doku-Fotos den Garten in all seinen jahreszeitlichen Veränderungen sehen kann - es blühen immer noch Rosen [zu sehen auf der rechten Seite des ersten Bildes]!

Ich hoffe, dass ihr alle heute etwas (positiv) Überraschendes erlebt, das euch berührt und euch vor Augen führt, wie viel Unglaubliches und wie viel Schönes ihr in eurem Leben habt.
